Hey thank you guys. Katinka, I checked out your blog, and WOW...your illustrated girls are something else! I'm impressed.
And yes, Ward, that is a clean weiner. See what I've been reduced to? Thanks for the compliments, though. It's a real challenge to take risque subject matter and keep it (sort of) classy. Sometimes, I don't think I succeed.
i'm so jazzed by your linework - what do you use to get that great blackish purple outline on yer illos??
Thanks, Todd. I use an India ink brush pen to draw the lines. Then I scan the drawing in high-res so that all the ink inconsistencies remain intact. Then I just alter the color of the ink to blue, purple, red, or whatever.
