Creative JUICE!

I'm back in the studio, working on season 2 of the kid's show. Today, the prop department needed a graphic label for a generic juicebox for the puppets to hold. I threw this design together, and was pleasantly surprised with the result. It's meant to be folded to wrap around the prop. I'm really diggin' the colors! I love it when spontaneous designs turn out the way I want. Why is it the best stuff comes when we're not trying too hard? I am continually mystified by this phenomenon. The moment I STRESS about a drawing is the moment it usually goes downhill...

...now I'm thirsty!

I LOVE IT!

I totally understand what you mean about when things become contrived. I strive for controled happenstance.

I must say, "Bravo!"

Hey v! your comments never cease to amuse the heck out of me. I love them. I'd love to see a fridge wrapped in this design! How cool...oh, and I believe I owe you a belated Xmas card, don't I? I'm so sorry...I got swamped, but will make it up to you! Miss you...xo...j

Man, this is a really great image, better than anything I've ever seen on a real juice container. Awesome job as always!

Don't you know juice-drinking isn't about fun? It's a serious endeavor! This colorful, playful, enjoyment of life expressed through visual sensibilties attitude is what's destroying the minds of today's youth! And it's got to stop. I want to see a much more somber, staid depiction of the importance of imbibing the nectar of our most precious fruits. Maybe you could just cover the box with a much larger version of the RDA data. Yeah! Drinks are on me. Cheers.

Oh man, this is incredible. All the colors work in tandem perfectly here. I really like how the dividers between each side of the carton play off of each other. Excellent job, Justin!
